I think she would have sounded great in AC/DC.

Ah, if we're talking female vocalists who could've been in AC/DC, I have to throw this one into the mix (ignore the videos, although they're quite cool in their own right!):

I love both Tina Turner and Stevie Van Lange - great singers

By the way - did anyone else know that Noddy Holder from Slade was offered the gig to be Bon Scott's replaacement

But Slade were just having a second wave of success at the time - having torn up the Reading Festival with a surprise appearance (standing in for Ozzy who pulled out) and Noddy turned them down , so they got Brian Johnson in - who sounds similar in many ways

Great fretwork!

Wow, Nod the God in AC/DC!  :D   Never heard that before.

A little hard to imagine, but it could've been cool.  He certainly would have helped with the songwriting.

(Just to be on-topic, Noddy is another of my favourite singers!)

Blimey Stevie Lange. I used to see her perform at the Bridge House in Canning Town years ago with a band called Filthy McNasty. The other singer was Chris Thompson who was in Manfred Mann's Earthband at the time.
