I r envious.

I want to build some pedals and amps.

I think I'm gonna order a BYOC Tremolo when they're back in stock at vibe-o-tronic.
I LOVE tremolo... I was never really a pedal kinda person but lately I've had massive cravings for tremolo and delay.
LOVING the Mules!

i built the BYOC mighty mouse once.
that was cool but its since been butchered. i wasn't a fan of it, but i could get some seriously meaty tones out of it, and it was loud as hell.

I really like the BYOC kits I've done so far, not one of them has been a duffer. Particularly the fuzz, love that. The only issue I had with it was the bias. Set where it should be is cool, but I also liked really compressing the shite out of it and it going really nasty. Hence I moved it to a pot on the front. I wouldn't mind doing the mosfet mods to the OD2 also, that could be fun, but I'd probably do that as a fresh build with the other opamp also.

Juan also did the soldering and wiring in my Valvecaster as my abilities are substandard and inferior!

There's probably about a quater of the wire in that than mine as it is, so I'm getting there. I just need more practice. Fear me when I get the heatshrink and cable ties out...

juan - where you from?

If you're piloting that thing in the UK, drop me a PM if you're going to Mallory Park.  I only live round the corner.
Advice worth what you just paid for it.

It's actually a valvecaster on the end of a switchable (could easily be made stompable) EH Linear Power Boost clone. The VC on it's own is awesome. With the LPB switched in and dialed up it becomes a proper valve distortion, bordering on fuzz! It's actually probably my favorite of the lot so far sonically. Killer pedal.

We're at Spa in July. The Radical is actually a friends car that I'm dual driving (for as long as he'll let me). We just did Silverstone with it a couple of weeks or so ago and it was bloody marvelous until the clutch started slipping over 8000rpm, grrr! It's got a new one in now so hopefully all should be good for it's next outing. I might try and get the Westy down to a track at some point during the summer. Don't know when and where yet though as I'm struggling for time off at the moment. I'll bob you a line if we ever make it that way with it.
