Copperhead, follow your own advice - you found an amp that the sound of works for you. Thats all any of us do. Yay. Your Krank Krusade is getting rather tiresome, though. Youre looking more and more like a shill.

I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt and say its genuine enthusiasm, but your "defence" of Krank here (which largely consists of putting down almost everything else) is making me want to avoid them.

Wow
I post some news on a new amp and endorser, 90% of you guys show up to bash on me, that's being a shill?
"Largely consists of putting down everything else"? Just recently in this thread I expressed my concerns over VHT and Mesa, show me where else I have put down other amps??

Your cruelty and outright attacks makes me want to avoid using Bare Knuckle pickups in the future.

.....and I've largely stayed out of this thread after it took a negative turn.

I posted to point out that you were beginning to make comparisons to a Rev JR 20 watt, and to correct the perception that Krank was over-priced. Funny how once the actual US prices on many of the amps in the same category were posted in this thread that no one could man up and make a retraction.

No, that's ignored and you find other lies to propagate.

When you delete your account, do all the posts disappear? Just wondering.
I didn't see the "UK Only" sign on the door when I came in.

that is a fair point for anyone considering buying an amp in the US, but since a lof of us are not over there we can only really go on UK and EU prices.  maybe if krank sorted out a decent UK dealership with prices inline with the Uk market you would have a valid point... but at the moment its simply not the case for most of us here

actual US prices mean very little when you dont shop in actual US dollars!

Its not the news. Thats just news. The news, it turns out, was questionable or the endorsment very short lived (which would be consistent with dmoney and nfes experiences earlier in the thread). But thats not the point. The point is youre waving the Krank flag like youre being paid to do it (euphamistically speaking), putting down other amps, recounting your own personal experiences as though they're hard fact, saying that 99% of stuff on forums is rubbish (this is a forum, in case it hasnt escaped your attention, which means with that statement you either said that 99% of us dont know what we're talking about or all of dont know 99% of the time - a brave statement on a forum that has pros from every aspect of the guitar world, including amp builders - which 99% of what MartinW or HTH or JFPamps says is bullshitee? What about Bob Johnson, Feline, Wez, which is their 1% of good information?). Then of course saying that you dont gig you cant evaluate a peice of kit, and generally saying that most people here dont know what they're talking about.

Which begs the question - if you have such a low opinion of us, why are you here?

But thats beside the point. I have no beef with krank, I've never played one, I've heard clips that I didnt like, but we all know how clips are for knowing how an amp plays and sounds in person or on a stage (uninformative to say the least), and couldnt care less one way or the other; your posts in this thread have painted a stark picture of a fanboy, if not employee, whos main means of promotion of his favourite amp is attacking other amps with context-not-considered anecdotes (how many of each amp are in circulation, for example; with mesa its very high even in the UK) and insulting the intelligence and experience of this entire forum.

Perhaps you can see in this post that my previous one was the nicest way that I could think of to suggest that you drop the matter and leave people to make up their own minds about your precious Kranks. (We will anyway).

Cruelty and outright attacks, my arse. You want to re-read some of your posts mate, and see how condescending and insulting youre being here, and how patient those that have chosen to engage you in discussion about kranks/amps in general have been with you.

I dont think so, no.

P.S. denim n' leather, our illustrious mod and standup guy (no, I'm not saying that because hes our main mod) is from new york ;)

So no, the only part of this thats US v UK is costs, conversion rates, vat and shipping, and the fact that they all put kranks well over the price of equivelent marshalls, laneys, engls et al and have them knocking on Diezels door cost wise. Our options are accordingly different and krank have a different place in the countries market. Its the same with mesa and peavey. Thats what people have been trying to tell you, and you imply now that its xenophobia.

You're going to stop using BKP because you don't like the opinions of people on the forum  :? That is a little bit of an odd way of making a decision.
I think I hate being indecisive.

Hes reversing what I said earlier - that the way hes gone about plugging kranks, being so close to the company, puts me off kranks. Theres an obvious difference - I'm just a BK customer, not close to the company beyond being a moderately regular customer and a regular here. But its a similar un-logic, in all fairness. I dont mind people promoting things they think are worth it, of course, but going about it in such an aggressive manner and slagging off other things and people (especially a group and some individuals that I like and respect, as here) to do it puts a bad taste in my mouth.

Again, what have I said other than Mesa reliability issues and SigX's catching on fire?
