Me too.  The videos I seen of it look impressive especially that one were the the woman is talking to the character on screen.

It looks promising, and apparently does work quite nicely.

I have 2 friends who work at Lionhead in Guildford and are on the Milo development team which is using Natal.  They won't tell me much though as they are under strict NDAs. :)

I've been trying to get some info out of my buddies too and all they'll tell me is that 'it works'

Which really... is all I need to know. Amazing.

I am a little annoyed with my self after this years E3 show, there's a game called Shadow Complex and it's exactly what I was trying to create years ago when I was into the Half Life modding scene.

A heavily Super Metroid inspired 3D side scroller set in modern times

We actually tried to revive the idea about a year ago on the UT3 but all my games dev buddies are far too busy.

Agh :(

what happens if the cat runs past the screen.... I can also see people having a serious accident

some company came up with a TV that can be controlled through gestures, that'll go down well with cats too

I'm afraid... this could be the end of the road for cats.

YES CATS. This means there will be many more hours to waste on youtube watching cats doing funny things in the XBOX

OK I wasn't as convinced when i saw the video on XBOX. But actually seeing someone use it live and i think it looks amazing.

Could it be that Microsoft have actually out innovetd Nintendo? Nintendo seem to have a gift for it, the DS and Wii (Why didn't they stick with Revolution?) are amazing.

I'm sceptical that this will work, but if it does... :D

One could get one's hopes up that they have.

Yeah I never thought it was developed in house, but it still looks they will get it to market in a big way sooner than anyone else.

I know Microsoft are a popular punch bag, and I'm not wholly enamoured with them, but I have to say, they often get it right on the second try. They tend to rush things to market, get a foothold with tech that might not be quiet ready, and then go back and get it right.

Windows 7 is shaping up to be an example of this, the .net develpoment environment and tools are another. The 360 is a very good console (my favourite and I have a PS3 and Wii, although really the Wii is in a different class).
