The Wall with a drippin JCM800 (RY neck)
« on: June 05, 2009, 10:40:14 AM »

Ha, this is NOT trying to emulate Gilmours tone. I just punched in the Overdrive and let it rip.

The RY neck is very open and straty I find, whereas the bridge has a lot of bite and oomph, great great PU set.

Here's the clip (all Axe direct):

the neck RY sounds very "straty", only much fuller... great pickup!

Yes, it's an interesting set. Not anything else like it in the range I think. There is a huge difference in output between the two, but it makes for a very versatile setup. I removed the splitting option, because I just don't need it with these. Neck for all blues/clean work and bridge for the rest or some in between if needed is more than enough.
