...just for understand the "EQ" of bkp painkiller
   
(I understand that the painkiller have an eq like SD distortion( and similar pickups)...right?

The PK doesnt really sound like much else, in my experience. Maybe an 81 with much, much more life to it.

Think ultra-tight bass thats quite ballanced in magnitude, big, thick mid hump, attacking high mids and smooth-side-of-sizzly high end. Quite uncompressed for its power: LOTS of chime and bite, even under high gain.

When I tried my mate's PK-loaded LP Custom it sounded very much like MDV's description.  It was EMG81'ish, but fatter, louder and more dynamic.

i see the Miracle Man more on the 81 side but for sure the Painkiller has got the "direct" and slightly "above the mix" feel of 81s without their dryness.
i know this is not much helping, but i don't know how to express it...
