Just to Kill some hype,about a month ago,i tryed a krankenstein head at MOtorCityGUitars,in pontiac,MI usa.Bout 3 Minutes into rippin,It litterally started smoking!!!!!!!Seriously,,Smoking!.The owner,Marty,told me this was the replacement for the head he had 2 weeks earlier,and did the same thing!Dude was seriously pissed!!
I have tryed a revolution Combo as well.Now that sounded sooooo badass.Really rich tone.THat turned into a huge jam session at MIke carey Music .It totally ripped!The tone was similair to a mix between a super hot jmp superlead,and a bogner extacy.The clean channel was shimmering and rich.Very nice.
The Cabs,4x12,sound like shite!Really!And when it was returned,they pissed and moaned,and wanted to give my boy some "credit".It almost came down to jumpin on a bus,and visiting them to turn over some dirt!We aint shy in Detroit!My boy got his money back,all except for 150$,which they claimed was a restocking fee,but told him they would give him 150 credit to buy whatever!Cables and a travel bag that says Krank?

I have a Krank Revolution and it is so so. In a way I wish I would have got the Krankenstein as it has some nice dynamics as well. For my ultra gain type of liking, I don't feel either product is amazing but for the money they are good. I will stay with Bogner for certain. I would say close behind that is my Engl Se. The Krank has a nice clean channel for sure and is fairly easy to work with...it just is missing a tad on the gain side IMO.

Yeah, I found that with my Revolution head after a while. Not enough gain for a modern amp, which made the guitar seem "twangy" to my ears. I took it back after 2 weeks and swapped it for an Engl Powerball which is awesome!

anyway.. that is some serious malfunction. how do the actual amps sound like though?
