Colour me interested, as long as i don't break anything this time I should be good. Depends when and where in the country I am though, still not thought about my mammoth move yet. Could either be driving from Glasgow or Ipswich. TBC i guess.

I work in a pub in Kettering, Northants and if it was a sunday or something I'm sure they'd be more than happy to let us meet up in the day or something. We could even open up to the public and have a BKP jam in the evening if anyone else was up for it. All we need is a decent drum kit and a bass amp. I'm more than happy to organise and if Tim and Co want to get involved and run it as an informal BKP promotion then that is fine too.

We have some good local ales available, a kebab shop one side of the shop, corner shop the other, decent parking and space to stash all the gear if needs be!

Paddy.

Sounds good Paddy - how would the day be organised? Would we have exclusive use of the room? If so how long for? The jam sounds ood but means I would need to get a lot of practice in!

Well I'd say at a push we COULD have the pub for something like 1-7 or something like that for a private meet. If people aren't particularly bothered about jamming while the pub is open then we can keep going til about 11 at night. It's not a busy Sunday night pub (its run more as a venue tbh). If needed I can provide a good drummer and bass player to jam with us!

Paddy

1-7 for private use - that sounds awesome. I'm not fussed about jamming in front of others as long as they don't expect a rock extravaganza! If we we're to do a jam I would most definitely want to have an idea around what sort of stuff we would be playing!

Have you got a suggested date we could do?
I think I hate being indecisive.

You should suggest songs, so people when they meet will know some so you can pull off a few songs. I had the crazy idea of flying over but I don't think I could manage that without collapsing from exhaustion.

I'm totally up for this...

London or Kettering (if Kettering I'm coming up early and going out in town with mates the night before)

Sounds fun if we get some backing tracks and jams going.

It was brutal sonic soup sweatbox last time - FUN but a bit mental!

i don't fancy organising another one that much.. but if no one else does, f_ck it i will!

if we do it in london i'll get the 'stage room' that they spoke of, and we can do it on sunday, so jonathan can come down.

The bigger room would be good, for sure!

If it has a stage, has it also got an "audience" area?  I can sit there and relax.  :)

Looks like it is London then!!! I'll come down, I have no BKP's but I'm more than happy to bring down my SG and effects board for people to use.

Afghan Dave - didn't kow you had mates in Kettering, ask them if they ever go to Sawyers!
