Any of you guys ever used ReRanch?

I've heard good things about their products, but they won't ship to the UK... does anyone know how to get hold of their sprays?

What about other good finishing products?  I'm looking for a vintage cream strat finish...  What's available in the UK and produces a decent finish?

yeah, they are pretty good too.

it still takes a lot of skill though and if i was you i would buy some cheaper spray paint to practice getting a thin and even coat with before trying it with the manchester guitar tech ones

it all comes down to preperation at the end of the day.  get everything as smooth as possible and then do your primer coats.  if you have flaws in your primer coat you will have flaws in your final coat so spend time fixing issues at this stage before applying any colour

I have Reranch paint on the 1969 Strat in the "Eternal Verities" thread. Quite zesty, a little dark but colors from that era could vary a lot, depending on who supplied the paint. (Considering that Fender custom colors are just "ports" of auto colors, I personally wonder whether I could get the right nitro or acrylic lacquers at an auto paint supply in the US.)

The paint took a while to cure but they can get good Fender, Gibson and other colors, and their forum is very knowledgable.

Wez is right though - use some throw-away stuff for practice and spend your time on good prep work. Any flaw or scratch will be magnified in the finished product.
