War Pigs for Motorhead
« on: June 17, 2009, 05:18:33 PM »
I just finished a Les Paul style guitar for Phillip Campbell of Motorhead. We put a set of uncovered Bare Knuckle War Pigs into it, running through CTS Pots and a Sprague Orange Drop Capacitor (47mf) The guitar sounds great - the pickups were just what we were looking for. Check out www.TCEllisGuitars.com for more pictures.

That's awesome, I actually came across your website the other day and it just completely confused me.

I'm trying to figure out what guitars your actually selling and I can't find it, theres these Series 1 PRS-a-likes for £199.. but sold out...

I'm seriously confused. And that's never good for business...

That looks great! Don't like the headstock, but the rest is beautiful

War Pig seem to be more and more attractive around here

I like the guitar, just the headstock isn't my thing too.

i wonder why warpigs were selected.. if i were selected to be in motorhead (unlikely, but i can dream..!), i suppose i'd want more cut to get through lemmy. beautiful guitar, and i expect its a great instrument too!

Check out the video I just posted on you tube: http://www.youtube.com/user/TCEllisGuitarsLtd#play/all/uploads-all/0/FKabTWdWfmg

Phil has been using it for a few songs on the  last few gigs in Europe - He called me over the weekend - he loves the guitar and is amazed at the sounds t produces - He is even using it for Ace of Spades - I am hoping to get the video from the gig shortly.

Yes the guitar started as one  of my 300 pound "Series 2"guitar's - we added BK Warpigs, CTS Pots, Orange Drop Caps and a nice setup - I can replicate the same guitar for 575 quid -  it kills Les Pauls, PRS etc. (Thats  just my opinion though!)
