You're funny :D Cool vid, just rated you 5/5 ...
Now if you really wanna lose weight, here some tip from another chubby dude.
I lost 14Kg in the last 100 days by watching my carbs and doing Yoga 4x a week. It's tough in the beginning, but you get used to it.
So what I do is avoid AS FAR AS POSSIBLE:
Beer (Ok this one is VERY difficult and I am not 100% tight on it)
Bread - BREAD IS YOUR ENEMY
Coke and all other sugary drinks
Smoothies - they are pure sugar
Pasta
Rice
Cookies etc
Fries (Fries are the worst)
Any other potatoes
etc
Think with carbs is a very simple thing in how the body works. Carbs or sugar are quick burners. If you eat them and your body cannot burn them, they transform into fat and get stored. To support this process, also any carbs (sugar or slower carbs) will raise your insulin level. Insulin not only makes you tired/less active, it also signals you fat cells to get ready for storing. So if you have fries (high fat/high carb) it's the worst you can do.
So what I do:
-Yoga to build muscle and burn fat (higher muscle will cause a higher metabolism, so you burn more in standstill) => also there are many nice girls there :O)
-Avoid carbs where possible, carbs are bad (unless you run a marathon)
-Eat protein (lean meat, fish, cheese, eggs, dairy...) - it also stuffs you longer than carbs
-Eat whole fruits rather than drink juice
-Watch my weight daily and react to it (if it goes up, I am more strict until it goes down again)
-Daily milk products (yoghurt, cheese, milk) as it was proven that the Calcium helps drive off fat
-Where I eat fat, I try to have it non-saturated (olive oil, fish, etc)
The big danger is that you will eat too much fat and your cholesterol level goes up. This is why besides watching carbs and fats, you should also get checked every few months (blood check).
Now this all sounds a bit overdone, but from my history of bouncing up and down the scale levels, this is what I found really works. I care more what I buy in the supermarket and eat more healthy than before, I am as fit as never in the past 18 years and I feel good!
You are still young, so losing now is easier. Calculate your BMI and aim for the normal range. You're not much over, so it should be doable.
