Thanks for posting. I also saw this on the ESP forum.
Lots of expensive boutique amps, ironically I like the classic 74 Marshall (unmodded!) the most.
I guess I'm just becoming an old fart somehow.  :P
Current BKPs: Miracle Man, Nailbomb, Juggernaut, VHII
Past BKPS: Holy Diver, Trilogy Suite, Sinner, Black Dog

Hmmmm.  Interesting, but it's pretty obvious that they've put little time into dialing in most of those amps.  THe Mesa MkV and the Bogner ALchemist in particular both sound truly atrocious, and I know those amps are both capable of sounding very nice.

Also, playing classic rock riffs through real high gain amps is not really showing what they really do.

It has some worth though. It's good of people to put up any comparative clips like that.

The only problem is that these clips have over 90% of the original bandwidth already thrown out! Talk about throwing out the baby with the bath water ... it's like trying to read the newspaper from 50ft away!

Still, a noble effort and they all seem genuinely excited to be doing it!
