No its not, its whiskey.
If youre gonna brag about it, spell it right :P
Aherm, I'll accept your apology in the form of a wee dram. ;)
I am another Islay whisky fan and Laphroaig is the one I go for the most. Not really into Vodka at all (though as a teenager I used to have it in a glass of Cider and I liked to get out of my tree on account of a not very pleasant situation I was in- and so I associate Vodka with bad times and have no desire to ever drink it again).
If I were Shobert I would put that Turtles mug to good use and work my way through those bottles.
Some of those will need to last a bloody long time as I'm never going to get them again for the price I paid. Especially the Port Ellen bottles.
I like quite a lot of the independent bottlers, Signatory being a stand out one for consistency of quality from my experience. You can't beat the Islay malts for that in your face peaty iodine taste. However I do like the mainland distilleries as well. I'm quite lucky/unlucky - depending on my bank managers opinion - to have this shop just up the road
http://www.wineandwhisky.com, it's a terrible place!
I'll shut up now before I bore you all to death.
