I'm feeling very smug right at the moment.

  Last friday I bought a synth from someone I met at a gig, for £80. Took it home, and decided it wasn't quite for me.

Stuck it on ebay, along with the expansion cards which were in the back ..... currently the auctions are about £310 for the two of them !!!   And still 2 days to go on the auctions !!!!

RESULT !!

Ah, but I'm a natural pessimist.

I'm never comfortable with an eBay sale until they've paid, received the item and left positive feedback.

I was at a gig the other week and saw a guy I sold a Fender neck to.  I didn't go up and say hello because I was afraid he might have decided he didn't like it.   :roll:

It's already spent .... on music gear of course !!

I've upgraded my keyboard rig, with a new (used) synth module ( a Roland JV-1080) and new MIDI controller keyboard. I play a few songs with the band on keys and I had been using an ancient Yamaha PSR270, which is like a joke home keyboard from about 25 years ago. I needed a serious upgrade.

Good stuff! I bought a midi cable on ebay for  few quid once, decided keyboards/midi based stuff wasn't for me and somehow got £20 for it :P Not on the same scale as your deal but a nice %age profit all the same!
