finally here's my custom!
woods: wengee neckthrough, swamp ash wings with paduk spacers, ebony fretboard.
mechanics: sperzel locking tuners, schaller "hannes" bridge.
electronics: BKP ceramic Warpig bridge, BKP Painkiller neck, 3 way switch, volume, tone, miniswitch for coil splitting
wengee is a rock, but ash wings are very light so the overall weight is acceptable... on the les paul side, but i never felt weight as an issue...
scale is 25.5, neck is round but not thick... let's say like a '60 gibson neck, more or less.
acoustically it's a bright beast, but is naturally full of hi-mids, with a "rounded" sound character... shape is a bit uncommon but feels very, very comfortable and natural.
unfortunately i've got no way to try it on a "real" amp, at the moment (except for a brief test on my luthier's JCM2000)... so i'll post some POD impression later!
