Some rather tasty samples of those (mostly '68/'69 first reissued goldtops) are still up for grabs around the 10k in euro's over here in holland.Undoubtably good zoo's (players or not) will be a very solid investment apart from being the 'holy grail' of gibsonism, which is still the question with the late reissues.And oh yeah.... solid backs RULE!!!!!!!!!! I'd take the Rev if I had the cash, seriously.If the Jimmy Page models are anything to go by, the signed Pearlys will be worth an absolute mint in the future - far more than a 60s Goldtop.
I agree - if I had the money, which I don't, I would buy one. If I win he lottery I will buy as many as I could and give them away to the good people on the forum!

you wouldn't use the meat knife on crusty bread but, equally, the serrated knife and straight edge knife aren't going to go through raw meat as quickly
