I guess the big thing about this is that you'll always get your investment back when you come to sell. And if you like it in the meantime (personally I think it's utterly hideous, but there you go) then that's effectively owning a guitar for free.

As much as I'd love to go to feline or legra with £5500 and get two or three unsurpassable guitars built, I'd probably have to keep them. Wait, that was meant to be a problem, wasn't it? Hmm.

Just whatever you do don't break it!

I know that feeling well! Reminds me of when I said of the CS Esquire "it's a keeper, I'm not going to sell it". And then a few months later it had been sold.  :)
