Pig 90 rock track - updated with another track
« on: July 09, 2009, 01:18:15 PM »
I think I've given up trying to write interesting instrumental stuff, I'm just no good at it. So heres another rock track in dying need of a good singer and lyrics :\

Not sure about the solo, sounds kinda out of place and lame maybe? Its just a typical rawk solo (sloppy and meaningless) with wah :P Might just get rid of it and leave it with the riffage..

I've been having inspiration to play and write again since starting to use the Laney again

Also I really need a proper bass, I'm so sick of pitchshifted guitar

edit - heres another track I've finished off after leaving it for a few months :) Pig 90 bridge straight into Laney GH50L again

i love the main riff, but IMO the "verse" is a bit weak... solo is excellent, don't dare to delete it!

i could sing on it, if just we lived a bit closer... :)
Mule, MQ, Stockholm, CS, RY, MM, PK, ANB, CNB, AWP, CWP, PiG90...

too many? ;)

hmm well I'm hoping I can move somewhere better after I've finished uni! Where do you live? :P

What would you change about the verse riff? I dont really know how I could make it more exciting.

eheheh... i live in italy so i think it would be a bit hard!
anyway it's just a personal opinion, i'm not saying it's a bad riff (and i'm at work so i couldn't listen to your clip properly...), but the bassline makes it sound almost like a"stripped down" version of the chorus. i repeat, it's just an impression i had from a bad, low-volume listening... don't take it as a serious criticism! :)

haha well living in a different country would be good, sadly the only other language I know a bit of is French!

The idea was sort of a stripped down version of the "chorus" riff so thats why it sounds like it :P Might be more interesting with a singer over the top.

Just finished writing/recording another old track, its in the first post at the bottom! Think the solo needs work again but it'll do.

Like the tone a lot on the new track! Pretty interesting playing too and really well recorded. Nice one.
LOVING the Mules!
