My faves that have already been mentioned:

I love hair metal. :D Although I'm technically old enough (well, for the later stuff, anyway), I missed it the first time round as I have no older brothers or sisters and only really got into rock in my early teens (by which stage hair metal had been killed off :( ), but I've been making up for lost time since.

This thread reads like my cd collection. Sadly though I used to have hair down past my backside I used wash and go, and it washed and went  :(.

Damn you hereditary baldness!

For those in the same boat, just remember the old saying "It's not a bald spot, it's a solar panel for a sexmachine!"

I'll admit that I don't have any albums of most of the bands mentioned on here. If I was to start buying some hair metal tomorrow what would everyone recommend? I'll be lost without any ideas!
I think I hate being indecisive.

Some of these aren't exactly hair metal (IMO) but they're brilliant:

Dokken - Under Lock And Key and Back For The Attack
White Lion - Pride
Enuff Z'Nuff - Strength
Ratt - Out Of The Cellar and Invasion of Your Privacy
Tesla - The Great Radio Controversy
Badlands - Badlands
Love/Hate - Blackout In The Red Room
Black 'n Blue - Black 'n Blue
Mötley Crüe - Girls, Girls, Girls
Cinderella - Night Songs
Saigon Kick - Saigon Kick and The Lizard
Skid Row - Slave To The Grind
Babylon AD - Babylon AD
Stevie Salas Colorcode - Stevie Salas Colorcode
Saraya - Saraya and When The Blackbird Sings

Just for Afghan Dave  :P :

Danger Danger - Danger Danger

Oh, and anything by...

W I N G E R !

BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

Had Skid row stuck in my head all weekend.
Has anyone seen sebastian bach's appearance on trailer park boys? Pretty funny. Much better than his recurring role on gilmore girls.

For some reason, that reminded me of The Nymphs with Inger Lorre.  That was pretty good too!
