Anyone tried one?  Are they as good as the HC reviews - as in Champ tone for nowt?

Probably made by Chinese prisoners - I mean 5 watt class A valve amp for £99 but if it sounds good !!!!

I'm guessing they're the same circuits as the Electone (?) amps that were out 5 years ago, Gibson put them out through Music Yo. Valve amps don't have to be expensive. Good ones have component cost, like good valves and transformers (the most important), but they're pretty simple devices really.

i noticed that last night!
I really wanna try one - oddly enough i can't find one in any local music shops. i bet you can't use them as an overdrive - they look way too simply set out.
This may be going off on one a bit, but Has anyone used that lil Brian May Vox battery amp for overdrive? and does it sound any good? i LOVE brian may's overdrive tone on the records. And they're quite cheap little amps aswell if i remember correctly, its like getting an overdrive with a free amp and speaker built in - ooo :o  8)
