Hello there!
I'm trying to choose a neck pickup for my 12-string Fender stratocaster (body: alder, neck: maple, board: rosewood), but I haven't suceed yet. :( Too many pickups on the BK website, and I can't understand, which one is which.
Though it's a strat, it has a tele pickup in the neck position, so I choose both between strat and tele pickups.
I need a pickup that has following sonic qualities:
1) Very clean, almoust acoustic
2) Smooth on all frequencies
3) Bright, but not sizzling
4) Good dynamic response
As far as I can see, there are several pickups that shoud have the sound I'm looking for:
1) Country Boy;
2) Irish Tour;
3) Sultan's
What do you think? Which pickup will be the best choise for me?
