NGD! bright red awesomeness
« on: July 18, 2009, 12:00:45 PM »
Well this morning I was looking on websites for guitars and came across the BC Rich gunslinger reissue. I liked the look of them when they first came out but never looked into it.

A store about 10 - 15 miles from me had two of the reissues in stock. So I went over there with my Gothic V (which I tried to sell) and looked to try out the red model with 2 pickups.

Got there, and plugged it into a Randall RM100 with the XL cabs. I really liked the playability, super smooth and no trouble at all. The tone was there but I didn't really like the Randall. It had the Treadplate and Ultra modules which deffinately aren't too my liking.

I traded my Gothic V for it which was very hard for me, I wanted a Gothic V since I was 14 and only bought one last year, but V's just aren't my thing I guess.

Plugged it into my Randall T2 and my god it's awesome.

Here's what it looks like

I'll be setting it up with 10-52's later on for more awesome.

Nice one Steve- great colour

I've got a USA one from 1988 _ I bought it new at a time that I was collecting a few USA BC Riches
Awesome neck on it -  was off an ST3 as I preferred the rosewood to the maple.

It's the PING floyd rose. You can tell it's of lesser quality than the Original Floyd Rose on my Carvin but it seems to hold up well at the moment.

Thanks. I was just wondering because it came up on another forum, and I think i emailed them about it a couple of years ago and they said it was the schaller one. :)
