Starting The Merry Pickup Go Round...
« on: July 24, 2009, 04:57:56 PM »
Well, I've decided to move ONE pickup into a new guitar and as a result...

I have to damn well move one round from each of my guitars to restore balance

I get obsessive about things being "right" and then dig a big hole for myself...

I've got two new pickups (not BKP this time) coming but that's adding to the confusion... :?

Wait, so you have spare pickups and want to replace stock pickups with those spare pickups but you have to jumble the other pickups around?

Well....

I've got a "very special" little axe on the way and I want to use one of my current pickups in that, so...

I have to move my Miracle Man from my Vandenberg to the BC Rich Gunslinger... The Super Distortion to the RG570... The warpig to....

Ya get the idea... Long day ahead...

Haha, I can fully understand you. Once I had the soldering iron out I had to check some more solders on other guitars "just to make sure".  :D
Current BKPs: Miracle Man, Nailbomb, Juggernaut, VHII
Past BKPS: Holy Diver, Trilogy Suite, Sinner, Black Dog

The Gunslinger is simply fantastic IMHO.

It feels good, it sounds good and it sure looks good.

I would buy a Red one second as a spare if I had a little money washing around.

I hate it when that happens, ive got the urge at the moment to move my painkiller, then id have to move my nailbombs, then id have to move my SD's then id have to move....... then id probably have to buy something new since the last in line doesnt really work with the guitar pickup combo of whats left over.

and yeah what are those gunslingers like? whats the neck like and is a OFR or some stink licensed one?
