I don't mean to be picky but why is Robert Johnson a caucasian in your tat?

faces are always the difficult bit and shading on faces particularly so.  Like HTH says i think he needs to be a bit blacker to resemble RJ a bit more (although its fair to say there is a lot of glare in that photo of him) but it does look really good.

might as well have the old grainy photo for comparison

I am not at all a fan of Tattoos but I guess if you must have one, may as well be a cool dude such as RJ. Great crease in his trousers don't you thing and the look on his face too. Listening to him right now in fact.

I don't mean to be picky but why is Robert Johnson a caucasian in your tat?

I have to go back for colour. it got a bit late when this was going on.
he won't be caucasian forever.

we had a talk about colour, maybe running some blue into the suit, just a touch. the rose will be yellow, and all the fire needs colouring and the bit inside the rope, above the devil shadow, will be filled with smoke.

took two and a half hours, i really like it.

fair enough, glad you're not white-washing the issue  (I'm practicing Dad jokes for the inevitable)

cool tat though, RJ is da' man.

I've always struggled with what I'd like as a tat, so have never got one.  The closest I can find is the hand-drawn AC/DC devil that Angus draws, that would look badass, imo of course...  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YeFmrzmAE58&mode=related&search=

i struggled with that for ages too.
after my mum died i knew i wanted something that said mum. hence my shoulder. after that first one i wasn't as bothered i guess. I'm pretty sure RJ is cool, and i know nobody i know of has an RJ tattoo. to me its better than a huge japanese carp or dagger with a scroll. I dont dislike tattoos like that, but i like it when people have unexpected things (like if someone had a swamp thing tattoo). RJ has a relevance to me, music, and my dad. its not just about RJ himself. i like it. it'll be cool when its coloured, my skin holds colour really well.
