Potential bargain to be had
« on: August 16, 2009, 06:45:51 PM »
As always I have spent a bit of time today combing guitar websites. Whilst browsing I came across this:

http://www.peachideas.com/acatalog/copy_of_PRS_CE_22_Limited_Run_with_Birds__1499.html

Looks like a bit of a bargain. That rotary selector would have to go though.
I think I hate being indecisive.

Wow, that is cheap!

Peach ideas is a bad website, they have far too much good stuff.

add Guitars4you to that list - sometimes they give me bad thoughts about trading my Esquire.

Bargain indeed  :o
Peach have a shed-load (I think that's the correct technical term  :P) of GAS inducing kit, lots of Dr Z amps

If I were in the market, this copper-caster would be mine,

:o  I've told you Ian - don't trade it, sell it to me!

Peach and Guitars4You are my top two window shopping guitar sites, closely folled by Guitar Village.

I only said "sometimes they give me bad thoughts". Each time I have them I pick up the Esquire and let the thoughts float away.

Oh no Dave !!  :o -  you torment me when you mentioned 'Guitar Villiage' - as I'd have to turn to a life of crime to fund this one ....

( * sigh * )

Having said that, at that price, I could get a hand crafted 'Big name'  U.S.A built archtop , from one of the U.K. 'boutique' archtop specialist importers.  It is however. (as you said )  lovely to window shop ! ).  :)

Was looking at the GV website earlier as well as a host of others. I noticed that someone has pre-purchased the Blly Gibbons signed Pearly Gates. I'm assuming it isn't anyone from this forum!

Both signed PGs, one at Coda and one at GV, have sold.  There's some well heeled collectors out there.....

Maybe it's just one person - get the market tied up and then sell at a large profit later.
