Because we are all stuck in a rut remembering our favorite periods of his career (Ozzy, Pride and Glory, Book of Shadows). Also we are sickend by his OTT comercialism, I understand the guy has to make a living but seriously he'd endorse fresh air if he could get a buck for it.

To be honest he's probably learnt his business accumen from Sharon Osbourne, sadly he doesn't have a famous husband to use as a puppet so he uses himself.

Oh (puts on best 90210 voice) and pinch harmonics are like so last season! :lol:

I think it's more a question of how can anyone not hate him, he's such a c--k.

There's also the frustration that this is a guy who (on past evidence) has genuine talent, but he's chosen to drown that talent in beer (and pinch harmonics), turn himself into a ludicrous cartoon biker/viking/Kerry King lookalike, and release the same boring album every year.

Yeah his latest collaborations with Gibson have really made me wonder. But then they will bring out things like that 12 ply candy looking monstrosity. I guess they've got a lot of extra cash to spend on releasing a certain amount of "Novelty" stuff a couple of times per year.   :?

I totally agree with everyone. Zakks old stuff is actually some of my favorite music. Book of Shadows and solos like the one from No More Tears-Sold my soul. The guy had such an awesome mixed style of blues and metal and it was really good. I mean he had it all he had the style and that look that every rock star trys to do but cant. But than he grew out that stupid beard and tried to change himself into some trucker Biker Kerry king wannabe. In his interviews he sounds way more stupid. No wonder Ozzy is looking for a new guitarist. His style is totally different.

God, what an abomination! I saw it yesterday during my lunch hour at work, and forgot about it, funny how that worked out?

Its such a waste of talent, he was a fairly good guitarist back in the day, but now hes just a caricature of himself, and not a very well drawn one.
