What Would Look Good On A Headstock?
« on: November 03, 2005, 02:29:20 PM »
As you may know, I'm getting a guitar knocked up at the moment, however I am able to put something on the headstock (reverse strat style). I dont want to leave it blank, but I don't really fancy the company logo either...any ideas as to what, be it a word, a logo, an image or suchlike, would look good on it?

flash or not flash, im just after suggestions! :)

Great Ben, another drool site. (I'll send the pic of the flame inlay board to our bassist).

You can awlays put your initials on the headstock.

cheers for the link Ben, some interesting ideas on there!

As for the initials, i dunno, IDW is not so interesting, plus i think I'd get tired of people making jokes about SRV...

i know guys, thats why i put the ' ' after it...

What Im trying to get across, is that its hard to find something not tacky, not cliched yet not pretentious to stick on the headstock...I dont want a Fender decal!

If you're proud of the fact that you've bought a custom axe, what's wrong with having the logo of the guy who built it? Or did you really want a Fender?
