John Sykes Using BKP?
« on: August 24, 2009, 08:38:57 PM »
I saw on the user list that Sykes was listed as a user. Anyone know what he's using these days, as well as what guitar(s) he has them in? Cold Sweats would e the obvious ones, just looking to confirm.

Also, anyone know what pup Sykes had in the neck of his LP through the 80's and on the Whitesnake album? The Dirty Fingers is known in the bridge, but there seems to be a lot of disagreement over whether the neck was also a DF or some other type of humbucker. Anyone know for sure?

I was also wondering this.

I'd also like to know if he actually has BKP's in his main Black Les Paul, or if he bought a set of BKP's, threw them in some random guitar, and is thus classed as a user.  :?

Not that it would be wrong to do that, it would be factually correct, I'm just interested if he actually uses them, gigs them, not just has a set.
