Neck MQ, My Sharona solo

Cheesy song but the solo is great :) I think some of the bending is a bit sloppy but it'll do!

Same setup as every other clip really haha. I love this guitar/pickup combination. So much better than my Epi with Mules I think.

Cool! I just thought it's a tad muddy... Nothing big...

Sounds good to me, the tone is kinda' similar to this clip (I think it's live),

Brilliant Tom !

A melifluous rendering of a solo I had not fully appreciated before. Nice to hear the 'Queens' doing another style than I have used them for.

Cheers !  :D

Thanks for listening FF :) It is a great solo, the song gets pretty annoying but I love the solo. Shame the radio edit version cuts it short after the fast legato bit.

I love the MQ, at first I found it too low gain compared to the Pig 90 but its still very versatile. Just doesnt match too well, but it has a clearer/more organic tone I think. P90s are awesome, definitely my favourite kind of pickup that I've tried so far.

Fernando I sort of see what you mean about the muddiness but I usually expect that from a neck pickup, especially in an LP. All singlecoil necks mush up a bit under gain I think. I like that though, feels great to play with.
