I've had these babies in my usa strat for a few weeks now... and I cant put it down!  The tones these pups make are pure sonic extacy... there's a review on harmonycentral that sums up the sound more accuralty than mere words can: "You will have an instant "guitar face" when playing on these pickups"... like Jimi when he's into a serious 'thing'  8).  Suffice it to say I love what the irish tours have done for my guitar!

I was in the process of posting a pic... but its complicated.... and i could be playing. Selah, maybe later.

Thanx again 2 Tim & every1 @ BKP

The amazing Phil

So far I've just been looking at them, and taking a few pictures  :D  I'm going make a couple recordings with my pickups first, then with the Irish Tours. It's fender vs. Bareknuckle... I think I know how this one will end. But right now I'm waiting on a soldering iron.   :(

The results are in and I have to say these pickups are absolutely killer.  I thought my strat sounded good before, now it smokes. The fender pups sound flat by comparison. The Irish Tours have much hotter output and the tone is incredible, so very sweet. A buddy was over to help out and we couldn't believe the difference. The most noticeable difference was the bridge pickup, before it was twangy bordering on brittle, now I'm using it all the time. It's tone heaven, this is what a strat is supposed to sound like. I can't say enough about how good these pickups sound. The next guitar project starts in September, no question about where I'll be buying my pickups for that one.  :D
