Good demo.
It's a very convincing argument for a multi channel amp, they all sound good and with fairly different characters (though the higher gain sounds are all quite crunchy and Marshally).
Can you make MIDI presets with different gain/EQ or just use it to change channel?
Thanks. What you cannot hear in the video is how some of the amps push in the low end. For example 2B and 3B have a lot more low end chunk than 2A and 3A, which is very useful when going from Rhythm to Lead.
PC messages can switch the channels as well as the FX loop On/Off and the FX mode serial/parallel.
So you can go from a clean sound with delay in parallel mode to a lead sound with phaser in serial mode to a dry crunch with one button, provided your effects understand MIDI as well.
For now I'm gonna go pedals and the H&K switching board, it's just more intuitive than programming it all. It's great to have the option though.
