Musicman and Apaches.

I've recently bought some Apaches (one needed repairing, a dry joint)and have just fitted them in  my 1990 Silhouette (Thanks Tim). They sound fantastic. Its an ash /maple hardtail with through body stringing. I love the way it sounds and plays, but wonder if a Strat will sound better with the Apaches.I dont know whether to trade it for a Fender or buy a cheap Squier to see. Any way here's a pic.

if you like the way it sounds, and assuming you like how it plays, why would you change to a strat?  it's something a little different from the norm, probably better quality than the average fender, and you have the advantage of 2 or 3 extra frets.

by the way, is that JMP purple?  or is it a trick of the camera flash?

Flash.Its black. I havent had a strat for a couple of years so I'm sufffering from GAS. My Silo normaly looks like this. Since I put yard birds in my MIJ 62 tele ,the Silos not been used so much. Then I came across these Apaches in a flea market.

Theres a guy there who buys and sells guitars ,amps,pedals etc.  The Apaches were in a strat,but the neck was not working. I got them for £60.
