Do I need a second Warmoth?
« on: November 06, 2005, 11:00:40 AM »
I've decided I probably do. I normally wouldn't have, only I've had a really cool idea for a tele, I shouldn't have been reading that bit about Billy Gibbons in Guitarist with all of  his guitars there and stuff.

I need to quench my G.A.S, but I already have a Warmoth, a beat around SG copy, and a Guyatone, I don't know quite how to justify it. :?

So, talk me down or spur me on!

I'm tempted to try a Warmoth, but im worried about how to put it together, and the hassle of getting all the parts over from the US...however, seeing as you have already completed one, I think you should go for it! :)
The large print giveth, and the small print taketh away...

I don't think you should do it, because I want one, but I can't afford it.

Oh what the heck.....go for it man....I have been doing it for years and have a very nice guitar/amp collection.  You only live once and as long as you can still handle your responsibilities........do it.  Living with regret is difficult and if you have to do so, you will at least have something nice to play/hold.....LOL.
With all great rewards come potentially greater risks...Dare to believe.

You know I think you're right, I'll probably do it some time next year though. One thing I'm considering is just buying a new body and then later buying the "rest" of it to put on the "old" body.

You can never have too many guitars. 8)  I've been thinking about getting me a Tele again. I was thinking about a Sparrow Twangking and adding a bigsby and some Country Boys. (Maybe next year)

It's not a matter of choice, it's when I'll have the spare cash to do it again.

yes you most certainly do. There is always room for another guitar.
