Cold Sweat doing John Sykes!
« on: September 24, 2009, 04:06:01 PM »
I figured it was about time I tried my hand at using my Cold Sweat for something John Sykes actually recorded, and I'm a massive Thin Lizzy head, so I dug out my copy of Thunder and Lightening, and I think I found my favourite John Sykes solo, my God it wails! So I learned Baby Please Don't Go, and I'm actually amazed at how much the Cold Sweat sounds like...well...John Sykes when you want it to!

Short clip of just playing the solo, for whatever the hell reason youtube cut out the final bend :(, but this really puts the nail in the coffin for any other pickup, I love BKP's!

edit: seems to have recorded with very low volume without my realising  :?

Sorry about that :(. I didn't really listen to it until it was live, I don't know why it recorded so low :S
