:D I like how the pickups BARELY fit!

That's gonna be one mean playin' guitar when you're done...
What you gonna use it for?

Jesus $%&#ing christ sam you coulda grown the trees yourself faster than this. Or learned to build guitars, then made the one you wanted.

Whens it gonna be finished?

Whats it been, a year and a bit now?

Someones gonna have to peel you off the roof when you get it though. Thats gonna be a helluva day.

Oh, and why is your pickups 50% wider than the string seperation?

I have no idea why Harry made the pickups so big (Haeussel - not Conklin) but Conklin thus had to file right up to the neck/file the bridge so the pickups are still touching but that's the best they could do. Kind of interested to see if it adds to the look or not on the finished product, a little scared of that but they themselves I think look awesome.

It's actually going to be mine in just over a month possibly... (friend going to America and MIGHT be able to pick guitar up for me and Conklin know this/said they think they could have it done by then...)

Venemous - I am going to use it for Touchstyle, Rusty Cooley covers and my band's stuff (quite Muse like but with a LOT of weird influences such as Cooley, Opera, Classical Piano, Dance style stuff etc)...

I never realised this was a Conklin - I thought it was a self-build to be honest.

It'll be interesting to see it when it's done.  :)
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

Yeah, the pickups are $%&#ed. Get them to make new ones or explain the absurd size. Theres clearly an error there. Did they think they were making of an 11 string?

I think this is what they were made for.
