Backing Tracks
« on: October 06, 2009, 07:25:13 PM »
Anyone have any experience of playing live using backing tracks? One of the guys in the band and I are thinking of doing some acoustic-type numbers as a side line and I was wondering about using backing tracks to fill out the sound.

Any advice appreciated - thanks

I use backing tracks/samples all the time with a BOSS RC20. However, there is very little recording time on that unit. You might want to look into an RC-50.

50 minutes of audio in mono; you can run it into a keyboard amp or DI into a PA and just play along with it.
