Gig Rig Users: How do you house your pedals
« on: October 08, 2009, 07:32:58 PM »
Hello Gig Rig users, picked up a gig rig controller a while ago, I used to just have it as multiple effects loops and put the pedals around it, however that makes one BIG pedals board.I'm curious to how you other gig rig users house your pedal boards/pedals/gig rig controller.

I was thinking about making a box that housed the pedals then the gig rig controller on top of it.

Love to hear how you all do it.

Depends on the gig.

Rig controller is a Roland FC-200. I do not have a case for that. It sits on the stage front. I run a MIDI cable from that to my pedal board which has the effects and switchers on the back line. I oftentimes put the pedal board behind the back line to keep it everything even neater. Pedal board is a Pedaltrain, effects loop switchers are Lehle D.Loops.

For smaller gigs I ditch the MIDI control and the Lehle switchers and just cascade whatever pedals I'm using onto the Pedaltrain.
