ZZ Top last night

Anyone else go to see ZZ Top at Wembley last night?

Awesome, awesome gig.   Billy was on SERIOUSLY top form.   What a tone too!

And bizarely enough, no visible backline!   No sign of an amp anywhere, which was a shame as Id have love to have seen what he was using.

x4 stage right. Although I hear from Zak Vex's forum that he doesn't always actually use them he just likes the products and endorses them for free and he may actually be using an amp off stage.

I thought I counted 3 as well at the Wolves gig. To be honest I didn't really pay much attention, I was stunned by how awesome the performance was. It was probably one of the best gigs that I have been to.

I have seen photos of up to 5.
Still don't know for sure what the green box is on top

I was standing just right-of-centre so couldnt see anything of Billy's rig, but I also couldnt see any bass amps either, so assumed they had a hidden setup somewhere.

Hmmm. I have amp GAS at the moment. I now have Zvex nano GAS  :o. Are they any good does anyone know? It's another brand that splits opinion. I like their handpainted stuff but think they have traded so much on it that it spoils it a little.
