I'm a bit late at updating this, but I was waiting for my mate to upload his videos to youtube.
The show was quite possibly THE best gig I have been to. It was a very intimate gig in Glasgow (inside the armadillo). It was so intimate in the fact that there was no security barrier at all so we were right up at the front of the stage. We were stood right in front of Roger Glover, and even got to shake his hand on a number of occassions.
Ian Gillans voice is still in good form and Steve Morse ripped out some tasty leads. Roger Glover, Don Airey and Ian Paice were all very very good too. It was more or less a greatest hits set but it was very enjoyable. Ian Gillan also mentioned that there is to be a new album next year too.
My friend was taking videos throughout the night, I was standing on his right singing along with most of the songs. If you get a chance to see Deep Purple on tour I would definitely reccomend it, sure it would be better of Ritchie Blackmore was still with them, but Steve Morse is a very worthy replacement and they put on a great show.
As I said, my friend was filming some stuff on his phone so here you can see how close we actually were:
