BKP Forum London Xmas Drinks?
« on: November 23, 2009, 01:04:30 AM »
Well, it's been long enough since we all met up for some of you who lead more exciting lives than me to have done some stuff that would be good to talk about.. so....

How do the usual suspects & some new guests feel about getting together before Christmas to have a beer and enjoy some general BKP/Guitar talk.

Other topics are not off limits (and will be generally encouraged by me until a look of disgust descends upon the group)

I probably know every pub worth drinking in so if you guys are up for it, we can set a date, then an area code and I'll do my best to find a conducive venue.

So, who's up for it?  PDT_015

I'm available until the 19th Dec, after that is iffy if I'll be here or back in Belfast.

So I shall be on the available/maybe list.

I dressed up as Buckethead for Halloween a few years back, played Jordan on Guitar Hero and everything.

I'll try and make it down. Start early in the day so it is easy for people to make it back on the trains?

Would love to make it, but probably won't be able to.  I'll keep an eye on the thread for date/time though just in case...

I'm probably going to London some time over my xmas holidays to try and get a new guitar, so could probably work the guitar buying and drinking into one day? I probably wont go down til the week after xmas day though (so the one starting Mon. 28th)

Count me in, dates permitting, but I may opt for a Jason Voorhees hockey mask rather than the KFC Bucket.

I'd be up for it - but like everyone else though... dates permitting. Things are getting a little cluttered around chrimbo.

At the moment, it's looking like I might be "free" the weekend of the 19th. But if that's the case, we'll be away the 30th till the 3rd Jan.

I'll be wearing my James May wig... (actually, a year on, he's starting to look a bit of skinhead in comparison now )

great idea - i'm in :) calender looks reasonably free right now except the weekend of the 19th since it looks like i may have various work/other dos around that one.

would prefer east london, but pretty flexible

I'm probably back in Glasgow around the 19th-22nd, so can manage any time other than that. As the token non-drinker I'll make sure I document the tomfoolery.

And have my way with Dave of course.
