I was just about to seal the deal on a couple of Bonamassa tickets for 30/05/2010 when Jane looked over my shoulder and said "You'd better not be buying those, we're on holiday from the 28th".

But seriously, that is the most annoying habit in the world.  I know people don't always do it to be irritating/offensive/intimidating but it really winds me up.  :x

I think sometimes people do it just out of habit.

But you're right, they probably developed the habit because they've spent so much time doing it to be irritating/offensive/intimidating/obnoxious CU*TS.
