Tracked shipping
« on: December 01, 2009, 01:38:35 PM »
Someone in Spain sold me some ripped off DVDs on Ebay, and Paypal have said I can have a refund but I have to send them back (isn't it illegal for me to export counerfeit goods???) at my own expense. They've said I have to provide an online tracking number to settle the claim, what's my cheapest and easiest option?

Royal Mail recorded delivery I'd expect, unless you happen to work for somewhere that has an account with a delivery company that you are allowed to make use of?

If I'm right in my law knowledge, it goes back to the original person, i.e. the seller, cause he commited the act of selling them.

Did you know they were ripped off?

if you really wanted to get cheap dvd's why didn't you just download them and burn them yourself? I see not why you would pay someone else to be an internet pirate for you!  :P

From the original post I'm assuming Sifu Ben wasn't expecting them to be pirate DVDs!  That's why he wants to get rid of them.

If they were 99p I wouldn't be complaining, I payed genuine(albeit cheap) money.
