Chrome hardware?
« on: December 05, 2009, 08:37:28 AM »
After owning a Les Paul Classic for 10 years I've finally decided that I don't like the look of aged nickel (heresy, I know!) - I like my hardware nice and shiny! So, I'm thinking about replacing the bridge and tailpiece with chrome equivalents. Can anyone recommend a supplier please? I looked on the Tone Pros website but couldn't work out whether they offered chrome as an option.

I don't want to have to do any more work than is necessary so identical replacements I can just screw into the original holes would be best.

Thanks, in advance.

Gotoh will make replacements.  WD Music or AllParts should stock them?

I can recommend Schaller (e.g. STM model). I use their bridges on all my guitars. Not the cheapest around, but definitely top quality.
