Well it cheered me up!

Just got back from a depressing annual event - the office Christmas party.  All those frumpy-looking girls you see 364 days a year suddenly turn out to be gorgeous.  Even without the aid of beer goggles.

At least when I was in my 20s or 30s this was a theoretical window of opportunity... now all I can do is look.  :(


Phil, there is no reason why you couldn't pull Brenda in accounts. There are loads of single woman, go talk to them and ask them if they fancy a drink sometime. The worst that can happen is they say no. So the more you ask the more chances you get of them saying yes. Honestly mate its easy. A lot easier than playing a guitar in a shop with lots of other customers in there!

Thanks for the encouragement Johnny, but one of my (many, many) hangups is a total inability to deal with rejection.  The first knockback would be the last.  :lol:

I cured myself of the curse of Facebook the easy way.... Got fed up with the cr@ppy interface and stupid games people kept sending me and deleted my account.  ;)
