Yes Paloma is indeed a total darling. Since Amy Winehouse there's been a positive shift in the quality of female vocalists and she's one of the best.

I think the song is ok....what I hear of it, my dog loves it and begins to howl every time it's played. Sadly we rarely share the same musical tastes, he's more into Ernie K Doe, Kim Carnes and Doris Day. :lol:

To be honest the lyrics to Sweet Child would actually fit perfectly for a folk song..."she's got eyes of the bluest skies and if they thought of rain, I'd hate to look into those eyes and see an ounce of pain, her hair reminds of a warm safe place where as a child i'd hide, and pray to the thunder, and the rain to quietly pass me bye"

I think the real problem is with this cover is she's playing everything way to note for note, had she changed up the arrangement a little bit more probably would've been alot better.
