MQ with different neck
« on: December 07, 2009, 08:11:47 PM »
Hello all,
I have an alder strat loaded with an overwound bridge MQ (10.5k if I remember correctly). I like the guitar quite a bit, it's rather light (and has sentimental value since it's my first guitar), but I don't like the neck and I'm contemplating a new one. I'm looking at a lacewood/ebony neck on warmoth, but I'm wondering what kind of tonal difference I'll get if I buy that one to replace my current maple/rosewood neck. Any ideas?
