NCD! rig of doom!

Well. I've been after a good cabinet to go with my Randall T2 for a few months now. I had offers of 2 x 12 VHT's, Orange etc but some thing else always came up and I had to spend the money I'd saved up. So I just put it to the back of my mind.

Recently my BC Rich Gunslingers neck was really making my hand cramp up. I'd be playing certain things and I couldn't keep a hold of a chord for very long but playing lead was fine. I didn't have this problem with my other guitars. So I put it down to not getting on with the insanely thin neck it had.

I put it up for sale a few days ago, no interest.

Last night a practice I was really disatisfied with the sound I was getting, really 'farty' and fuzzy. I knew it was my cab not being able to handle the Randall. So after practice I redid my Ad for my Gunslinger and that I would accept a trade for a good Cab.

5 Minutes later I get a message from Jonathan a Feline Guitars, he wants to trade his PROTOTYPE George Lynch Randall 4 x 12. I instantly accepted and drove down to Croydon today to do the deal.

I'm so happy I now have a fantastic set up and the new cab really handles the T2 well, so much more push, crunch and projection. Here's some pictures

You all know the story of this cab, but now I've got it and I'm over the moon.

Also bumped into Antag at the shop, plucking away at a Feline Lion with a Piezo pickup. Got a quick look at his gorgeous looking Les Paul too.

So thank you Jonathan! really pleased.

Nice trade for all parties... It's cool when that happens.

I've seen that cab in person and it is a monster. It suits the T2 well.

Dave is just happy to have another Gunslinger to play when he pops in

Seriously I just wasn't using the cab and it was just taking up loads of space and at risk of gathering dust.
I play fairly loud but nothing that my Rivera 2x12 or Marshall 1912s (all fitted with Celestion Sidewinders) can't handle.

Nice that the cab went to a BKP forum member!

The Gunslinger is very nice and sounds good straight off the bat - having fun with it
It's a very ME kind of guitar - all late 80s hair metal (apart from my Feline Lions and Flying V obsession)

Everybody happy - great when it works out like that

Yeah  - I was picking up one of my Les Pauls which had been in for a new nut & dropping another one off for the Feline refret treatment.  That Lion was gorgeous, as have been all the ones I've played - I'm kinda glad that it's already spoken for :)

Sounds like a good deal there for all concerned, glad you like your new cab!

:) The sum of money it would take to induce me to part with the V would buy ten Feline Lions .... after it had paid my mortgage off... :)

Under the official BKP meeting rules, you had at least three forum in one location ;)

Just winding Ben up! But the US has been very bad meeting wise lately.

UK FTW!

This is probably ancient history, but what did you use before then?

Hmm - think I just put my name on a couple
I only started making my own in 1988 and I did coin the Feline name around then but didn't get to use it till 1990.

Good score, those Eminence V12s seem really tasty.
