Really great sounding instrument - especially since he says it is played into a guitar amp.  There is some serious bottom end in the sound, but not with the traditional Gibson muddy bass sound!

If there were really only sixty some made in total I would think it would be more than $15,000, even though it has limited appeal.

I think Noel Redding played one of these (borrowed from Chas Chandler) on the earliest of Jimi Hendrix Experience recordings along with a Fender Bass VI
BKPS: Milks, P90s, Apaches, Mississippi Queens, Mules, PG Blues, BG FP 50s, e.60s strat custom set
