Mississippi Queens sing the blues
« on: December 15, 2009, 06:22:21 PM »
Here's my MQ loaded Reverend Manta Ray doing some slow blues.

Recorded in Riffworks using Amplitube 2 and the track just features two rythm guitar tracks and some solos
For the rythm parts I used the middle position and the bridge position (tremolo part). The first two solos are the neck and the last two are the bridge.

I tried to throw in a wee bit of slide, but I have never really playd slide before so don't be too hard on me. I didn't actually have a slide so I used a shots glass instead (very rock n roll except I didn't drink any shots from it first).

I hope you enjoy the track.

Great tones. Some nice touches there. I know I am supposed to be listening to the pickups( which are great) I think the track has a nice gentle quality. The Gilmour-esque final chord was a great touch.

Good demo, really enjoyed it. I kept expecting Mr Jagger to come in on vocals.
