How are you tuning this monster? standard 8 string or are you going charlie hunter on our arses? :P

I'd love to get a fan fret monster like this, but they're not cheap....

Turns out the finish is even better than how I wanted it, check it out at different lighting angles, looks nought like previous pics:

Ahhhh, no, I've heard that word before, there was a series of Darkstar skateboard wheels once made out of that stuff =p

This is how it's supposed to look! The previous/redder pics scared me.

And yeah - contours - I didn't realise the carving was that dramatic, I thought it was just a gentle edge, I utterly love it so much, prefer the contours like this!
